Atos announces first quarter 2012 revenue

Central and Eastern Europe with 10% growth in Managed Services
SOFIA, Bulgaria, April 25, 2012 - Atos today announced its revenue for the first quarter of 2012. Revenue was EUR 2,2 billion, representing organic growth of +2.4 per cent compared to the first quarter of 2011. In Central and Eastern Europe revenue was up +1.2 per cent. Managed Services revenue increased +10 per cent.
Mrs. Veska Davidova, CEO of Atos Bulgaria, said: "In the first quarter of this year revenue again grew more than 2 per cent thanks to our focus on public-private partnerships and on the delivery of Managed Services, High-Tech Transactional Services and Specialized Business services. I am also glad that during this period we strengthened our position as one of the leading players in cloud services via expanding our partnership network to include EMC and VMware."
The service lines that contributed the most to Atos Q1 2012's results are Managed Services and Hi-Tech Transactional Services & Specialized Businesses, with respectively+3.9 per cent and +2.9 per cent to EUR 995 and EUR 474 million compared to the first quarter results of 2011.
Atos Bulgaria is the biggest technology services company and the biggest SAP integrator in Bulgaria, with revenue of BGN 70 million in 2010 and over 100 highly qualified experts.
